Football has always been much more than just a game. Unfortunately, people rarely see the stories of the excellent daily work being done through football organisations’ community and social development initiatives.

The #Morethanfootball Action Weeks are a campaign for the European football community to showcase the impact of their social initiatives. In 2020, 108 clubs, leagues and FAs participated, reaching more than 40 million people worldwide throughout the campaign.

FREE #MORETHANFOOTBALL FUNDRAISER

Join the biggest football for good fundraiser of the year and raise funds for your foundation or selected community programme. EFDN members do not have to pay any setup fee and benefit from the full service and huge contact base of our partner MatchWornShirt. Non-members can join the fundraiser and the EFDN by allocating just 550 Euro of their revenue towards the biggest network on Community and Social Responsibility in European football. The EFDN Delegate membership package includes free access to the EFDN Conferences, EFDN Networking App and the Online Learning Platform.

The only thing that you need to do is select a dedicated match, organise the match worn shirts and other unique items for the auction, and EFDN and MatchWornShirt will do the rest.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

THE BIGGEST CAMPAIGN ON CSR IN FOOTBALL

108 participants from 30 European countries, including Juventus, SL Benfica, Shakhtar Donetsk, Lega Serie A, Borussia Dortmund, PAOK FC, Legia Warsaw, Pro League, GNK Dinamo Zagreb, Feyenoord, Malmö FF and Barça Foundation officially took part in the campaign. A total of 4,041 posts were shared on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The message reached 41 million people on social media, 8 million more than the 2019 campaign. Club Brugge Foundation won the More than Football Award and a Mini-Pitch system that will be developed in partnership with Musco Lighting and EFDN.
